The Craziest Red Dead Redemption Bugs And Glitches (So Far)
Getting into street fights in Red Dead Redemption 2 is nigh-on inevitable. Sometimes, those fights turn into all-out brawls. And, as PenGwinAssaSsin learned the hard way, occasionally the game has you destined to lose . While in a fistfight with a couple of NPCs on the road, Arthur turned to the side to be met with about a dozen more NPCs, all with their pistols out, and all firing at the same time. A rehearsed ambush? Or some sort of hive mind? Either way, it was pretty effect
You can find a horse out in the wild and tame them, or you can buy a new horse at a stable. Either way, be sure to study your new horse and learn what you can about them. And remember that, whatever horse you choose, they're embarking on this new journey with you. They're putting their trust in you. You're becoming their new best fri
Slightly south you will find a viking burial ground where you can obtain a helmet and hatchet. The helmet looks cool, but it doesn't have any special attributes and the hatchet is just a throwing axe that is slightly alte
This is another find that is perhaps just the start of another quest. If you head directly south of the I in Ambarino, you can find a house reminiscent of ones you can find in The Shire from The Lord of the Rings . Unfortunately, you can't go inside. There is something else off about it though. Above the door is a turtle symbol, the same one the cult Mary's brother tried to join. Is there a connection? Perhaps we'll soon find
There's a lot of depressing discoveries in Red Dead Redemption II . A lot of which are even creepier when Arthur barely has a reaction. He just creepily scribbles cryptic notes. Anyway, another flying ruin you can discover is north of Big Val
For as much a stink Arthur makes about John leaving, he never truly sits down to confront these feelings of abandonment. This is made all the more perplexing when Arthur helps John leave the gang at the end of the game. Narratively, it’s a nice bit of parallelism, but it certainly hurts that Arthur never makes note of it on an internal le
Consistency is important in any medium, but doubly so for video games. If the gameplay does not infer the narrative or vise versa, what’s the point of making a video game in the first place? Create a world that can only exist in this medium or don’t create them at all. Naturally, this means everything mechanic should co
Naturally, Arthur is put on lookout and is immediately caught in a trap. Considering their history with the O’Driscolls, though, Arthur and Dutch should never have been caught in such a juvenile trap. Arthur should have known to keep someone spotting him as he spots Dutch, but this detail was somehow overlooked by two of the gang’s brightest memb
The Old West is indeed ancient by today's standards, but let's not forget that back then they also had civilizations that were old even to them. For example, vikings. Well if you want Arthur to uncover some ancient Skyrim like architecture, follow the curve at the beginning of the R in Roanoke Val
Okay, so you've bonded with your horse. What exactly does that get you? Well, it turns out there are quite a few different benefits to having a horse in your corner. There are some gradual bonuses; the more you've bonded with your horse, the further your horse will be willing to gallop on its own when it hears you whistle. It's certainly not going to run across the map when you call, but the range definitely does improve. And, the more you bond with your horse, the less likely it is to get stolen. Apparently those talks about "Stranger Danger" paid off. Your horse will also be willing to wade into deeper waters with you, and generally be fine with going into sketchier terr
The Red Dead series has never been grounded in reality. From as early as Red Dead Revolver , Red Dead Redemption 2 cheats Harlow’s adventures were basically a glorified cartoon. The game was even going to feature supernatural elements at one point. Come Redemption , the tone has gotten more serious, but John Marston is still an interpretation of the legendary gunslinger tr

A bug? Or just a deer looking out for ol' Arthur Morgan? Regardless, the result is the same. Reddit user chelseasaints was apparently walking around for a good long time looking for the entrance to a cave, when out of nowhere a deer very awkwardly stumbles down part of a cliff with magnet hooves and shoves Arthur Morgan over the edge. But Arthur lands, turns around, and what do you know? There's the entrance to the cave. Blind luck? Or some kind of divine deer intervent
It may seem counterintuitive, but player freedom is not always a good thing. It truly depends on the game. In a story based title like Red Dead Redemption II , it genuinely does no good to have an Arthur who can be bad while his arc is clearly pushing for him to be better. Not only does it create a dissonance between story and gameplay, it creates a plot h
